I really worked to keep this painting simple in design, brushwork, and color.  I think I succeeded in the simplicity.

The roses I bought earlier this week finally started to open up, and yesterday I had a photo session with some simple vases and arrangements.  Yes, there will be more roses to come. The 30 in 30 Challenge is over as of yesterday, but I might just try for a 30 in 45 days challenge on my own of roses.  So much to learn.
