| "Strawberry on Plate" Colored Pencil over Oil
I am finally finished with this and very happy with how it turned out. The first stages of the progress can be found here. It was a very boring oil painting that I decided needed colored pencil. This approach required the use of my new heated drawing board, the Icarus.

Very nice, I like the dynamic composition, even though the plate is dead center, the diagonal of the spoon relieves it. But I have to say, as nice as it is, when I clicked through to the stages - I fell in love with the oil painting. Did not feel it needed anything more! Your oil paintings are juicy and beautiful!
