I decided to start with a challenge this morning. I cut this pepper open and couldn't believe what beautiful shapes and colors were inside. Although it looked quite daunting for this beginner oil painter (6 mos now), with a little determination and help from June, I managed to finish up very happy with this one.
I love painting! Yesterday was quite difficult, some days are like that. But today was a joy....

Thank you Karla! I have been an artist for quite a few years working in colored pencil and pastel. But I got this urge to pick up brushes last December and fell in love.
Looks great Cindy! You've captured such interesting patterns and vibrant colors in the pepper. Good work with the oils!
