I just got my acceptance letter from the 25th Annual All Colorado Art Show at the Curtis Arts & Humanities in Greenwood Village, CO. It's a wonderful venue and the juror is a curator from the Denver Art Museum. So I was sooooo pleased to be accepted. The exhibit runs from June 14-August 1, 2008.

Congratulations Cindy! That is great news!
Congratulations! This painting is something to celebrate, too. Wow. Great idea and great execution.
Congratulations, Cindy! I love this piece - the spoon and cherries stand out nicely against the blue background. Very creative name, too!
Thank you Beth! See you when you get back from France...lucky you!!
Thank you Susan! I so admire your hour long portraits that I've been seeing on your blog. And your gallery/studio is heaven-sent!
Thanks Ann!
Thank you Holly! I have a whole list of physics/quantum mechanics/cosmology that I wanted to interpret into artwork. Now if I could only find the time.
Congrats, Cindy! :D ...so happy for you!
Thank you Rebecca! That means alot from you. :-)
Congratulations too Cindy, that's fabulous news!
And I LOVE the painting, the colours are wonderful. Now how did you come up with the idea for this one?
Congratulations Cindy! Good news day indeed!! Such an enjoyable piece. I love the gradation in the background and the way you incorporated cherry colours into it! Bring on the physics/quantum mechanics/cosmology series!!
This is just great, congratulations. By the way...this piece is wonderful. Love the colors and composition, quite creative. Did you work from a still life set-up or a photograph?
Congratulations, Cindy! Like your concept and composition very much. You know I'm a fan of cherries : )
Congratulations Cindy ! This is great and you really deserve it.
I'm sorry, I didn't come here for a while ... I had to prepare my forthcoming exhibitions.
But I am back now and it is always a great pleasure to see your beautiful art work !
Thank you so much Jeanette! I love physics and other related subjects so I had this idea of visualizing String Theory, hence things on strings. When I started the photo shoot (about 400 pics) I tried all kinds of things until I stumbled on the little twist of the cherry on the spoon appearing to be on a different plane than the cherries hanging on strings.
Thank you so much Teresa! I thought the background would be easy but actually the gradation of values was really hard ;-)
Hi Marsha...thank you! I sketched from the real life set up and then worked from the photo. It took me 6 months to complete this piece. The cherries were long gone ;-)
Thank you Kendra! I love your new piece with the cherries!
Hi Catherine, so good to hear from you. Thank you so much for your comments and support. I wish you much success on your upcoming exhibitions.
