Merry Christmas!

Spiral Shells & Other Things (8" x 10") Colored Pencil Sold

Spiral Shells is from my "circulism" series, and the little pink shell on the left has been in several of my pieces.

This piece is owned by someone who was instrumental in my journey as an artist. When I lost my way, she listened to my stories, and helped me find direction. She is a special angel in my life (I have several). I believe strongly in miracles and angels here on earth.

Happy Holidays to All, my family celebrates Christmas and it will be a very special one this year.

Wonderful, Cindy ! This drawing is superb and I particularly like its luminosity !
May I know what kind of color pencils are used for your works ? I recently bought Neocolor II wax pencils and usually work with Derwent color pencils.

Thank you Catherine! I use Prismacolors. I have a small set of the Neocolor II that I want to try and a small set of Coloursoft by Derwent to try. So much to do, so little time.

Some of the luminosity you see is due to the black paper. Works on black photograph really well. I haven't done any giclees yet, but I want to start with my works on black. In real life, the pieces are a bit more muted.
